Of all bony fish, the oarfish, Regalecus glesne, is the longest.  It is suggested that oarfish can reach up to 15 meters (49 feet) in length but actual recorded lengths put them at still impressive 8 meters (26  feet).  Oarfish will often was ashore or caught by fishermen.  Yet, much like the giant squid, observations of oarfish alive in the wild are rare and video of them alive in the wild are even rarer. Until now.

Inspired by the Gothic tradition, the Wim Delvoye Sperone Westwater exhibit is comprised of spiralling towers that have been laser-cut out of metal. Breathtakingly decorative, each tower has been warped to give a sense of the surreal. His metal manipulations were created with the help of computer-aided design tools. While some of the sculptures look pristine, others appear aged to further their antiquated design.

Nicole Andrijevic & Tanya Schultz is an art-duo who takes sugar, pigment, polystyrene, wax, modeling clay, paper, plastic, found objects, wire, beads, glitter, and almost whatever else they can get their hands on to create a literal Candyland in the middle of the gallery floor.
